"Rediscover the works of the great Masters by adding brand new words each time.
Our own contemporaneity.
This is why I always prefer reinterpretation to copy.
This is why I love to create my instruments with varnish and all construction details intact, allowing time to add its signs in an authentic way.

My Baroque violin inspired by Guarneri del Gesù "Lord Wilton" 1742. Made in Cremona in 2020.
Making a baroque violin is like making a journey in the past. It's a return to origins with the intention of understanding and seeing better where all began, to create my contemporary baroque violin that includes past and present with the perspective of having as much bright future possible.
My Violoncello da Spalla inspired by fratelli Amati, made in Cremona in 2011.
The Violoncello da Spalla is a baroque cello very special: it is smaller than normal held against the shoulder by a belt and you can play it like a violin. It's very interesting that an instrument with the size of a tenor viola could be tuned like a cello, using the violin technique. The Violoncello da Spalla is the cello for the violinists and violists that want to enjoy a different way to play.
